A very close and colorful genus of Brazilian Rosewood, along with Tulipwood, Kingwood is very rare and hard to come by. There is a reason why this beautiful wood bares the name “Kingwood.”
It is well known to be used for beautiful inlay works of Louis XV and XVI, and in classical furniture of the 18th Century.
