African Blackwood is one of most dense woods in the world – more so than our Brazilian Rosewood. Many of our renowned luthiers claim that the tone quality of African Blackwood can be better than Brazilian Rosewood. Fine and closed grain, a beautiful finish can be achieved without “filling” pores.
